About the artist: June Dudley's paintings have a dynamic, life-giving quality attributable to her fresh and vibrant coloration that has become a trademark of her work. Her paitnings reflect the romance and beauty of nature, which inspires the soul. Growing up on the Texas ranch that has been in her family for four generations, June says, "The outdoors was my world and it instilled in me a deep love of the land, which I am told comes through in my paintings." Her paintings reflect her experience in yet another way: "All of the figures in my paintings are either family or very close friends." Over the years, her work has graced the covers of several magazines, received mumerous awards, and has been commissioned by a number of companies. June and her husband Richard continue to run the same ranch where her great-grandfather bought the first herd of Hereford cattle more than 100 years ago.
