Constructed of wood with a heavy, durable wooden frame. Checkerboard is pieced together in individual inlaid distressed wooden blocks in alternating colors of dark gray and white that are then sanded smooth and painted. The game pieces are hand painted polyresin black bears and colorful trout fish. Game pieces can be stored in the cheesecloth pouch provided (shown).
