Tops have metal hinges and are secured with a jute bow. Unlabeled so you can use them for whatever essentials in your kitchen are needed or you can add your own personalize labels for a more customized look. Graduated sizes nest together when not in use. These canisters are made of painted wood, inside and out. The hinged lids are not airtight and are NOT designed to use with unprotected dry goods of any sort. These canisters are NOT designed for liquid goods of any kind. Plastic liners such as Zip-Loc baggies are recommended when storing flour, sugar, tea or coffee, or any other dry goods not already in a sealable-type bag or other storage container. These canisters are NOT designed to store prepared foods and will not keep insect infestations from occurring if products are stored improperly.
